One of my first projects with Sophie (SBC) for Studio 100 was to create patterns and compositions for Sindbad. As the character is nostalgic for so many, I looked into 90s Benetton advertising for inspiration, drawing the bold primary colours from it. I then meshed this with traditional Arabic framing detail to create a fresh but authentic design for the character.
